This is a fantastic product that I have needed for a while now and didn’t even know existed. Living in the hot Arizona desert, if you’re outside for a while without protection, you are getting burnt. Scalp sunburns are horrible, you don’t want to wash or brush your hair. I’ve been putting regular sunblock on my daughters part when she is out, but oh what a mess. Hair Shadz are made in your color to protect your scalp. When I first popped the cap off I was like “oh the applicator brush is fantastic! But how do you get the cap back on?” Then I saw that Monica had thought of everything.
Not only does this protect your scalp from the harmful rays of sunlight, but it also serves as a powdered shampoo and it will blend in your roots! I applied it to my arm so you can see how it looks, it is light and you can’t even tell it’s on, unlike spray sunblock it’s not going to make your hair greasy either. Monica first created this product as something to blend customer’s roots, but after her mother became ill from Melanoma which started at the scalp, she soon had a new mission. This is something I would love to try! I absolutely hate it when my hair looks or feels greasy, but really need something to protect my scalp when I’m outside gardening, playing with the kids, walking the dogs, etc.
