Somehow my dogs always know when the mail is for them, I may as well let them start opening their own packages. All noses aside… Aura and Ares the infamous dogs in our family got to try out this great new toy from Dog Collar Boutique. Yes, they do sell more than just dog collars. They carry toys, leashes, treats, tags, jewelry and clothing! Quite a variety of categories.
I always like to learn about the companies and this one had a great story:
A special relationship started in 1992 when Robert Taylor, then ten years old, was enrolled in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program by his mom. Her goal was to find a role model for Robert.
At this time, Brian Lewis was waiting to be paired with a little brother. When Brian was young he had wanted to enroll in the program as a Little Brother but he had never been able to do so. As an adult, Brian decided what a better time to fulfill the need another child may have.
Robert was successfully matched with Brian through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Aurora, IL. They have maintained this relationship since they were first matched, which brings us to the present time.
DogCollarsBoutique.com is the brainchild of Robert and Brian. Dogs play a large part in their lives and have been a wonderful source of love and companionship for them and their families. Their goal is to provide one place where you can find a large selection of beautiful, high quality dog collars and neckware for your pets.
Paws aboard is what this fun toy boasts and although it is not a flotation device, it is a great toy for your dog to play with in the water. I love that it has the rope around it so your dog can close it’s mouth while swimming with the toy. Unfortunately we have not been able to make it out to the lake yet, and well I do live in the desert. I was thinking about taking them to the pool but, I don’t think the HOA or the neighbors would appreciate that!
So Aura and Ares agreed to do some durability testing on it because, well that’s what they do best!
I was really happy with how well it held up. My husband said “don’t let them go out with that, they’ll tear it up!” Well, the material it’s made out of is like a seat-belt material and it held up very well to the tug-of-war battle.
This however, is the previous toy I purchased from Coleman that said it was “indestructible” after only 30 minutes.
This is the same amount of playtime, you can just see the difference of the quality as well!
Aura won the Tug-of-war Battle and is proud and happy with her Life Ring. She gives this toy 4 paws up!

So cute!!! It’s great to know how durable they are. My basset Jelly is super rough on her toys so I’m always looking for things that will standup to her playtime.

sounds like a great toy. my boys tend to kill any toy with a quickness!! my husband will come home and yell that there has been another murder in the living room! i walk in to find white stuffing everywhere and 2 guilty looking babies with puffs of stuffing in their teeth! indestructable would be awesome!
I love this toy! my pets would love to have this to play with and to play tug of war with!
Sounds like a great toy, my boxer likes to dig out the stuffing to get to the squeaker so I’m always looking for new things to try for her.

It sire looks like your Dogs are having a blast! LOL! My Sister runs a Pug Rescue Mission and let me tell you….those little Dogs love to play and tug and at least the ones that she has as pets are surprisingly stong whenever I play with them with a pull toy. This particular one appears to be very sturdy and long lasting. Thanks !
